Described as

Our Athena e-liquid is a delicious blend of sweet and sour apples featuring subtle flavor on inhalation with a lingering aftertaste that intertwines the sweetness of a red apple with the tartness of a green apple, producing an aroma you won’t soon forget. The subtle flavor and light but lingering punch of green apple pays homage to Athena, a calm but spiteful goddess who carried sweet words backed by the sharp point of her spear.

Ingredients:

“My apple tree will never get across
And eat the cones under his pines, I tell him.
He only says, “Good fences make good neighbours.”
Robert Frost

Apple stories have been told since the beginning of time. Adam and Eve, Johnny Appleseed – you know the stories. But I have some Athena apple e-juice tales and reviews that I consider rather interesting. This Apple e-liquid is at its best. The apples in this e-liquid have the right balance of sweet and tartness flavoring. The best types of apple combinations for vaping include red apples and fresh green apples.

SPECIFICATIONS:

The background theme of Athena:

The sweetness of a red apple with the tartness of a green apple, producing an aroma you won’t soon forget.
Athena was the Greek goddess of war and wisdom. She was the daughter of Zeus and Metis, and by far Zeus’ favorite child. She was known for being a very fair and chaste goddess.

The sweetness of a red apple is the wisdom of this e-liquid and tartness of a green apple is the war of Athena e-Liquid.

Review Of Athena E-liquid:

Packaging

This e-liquid bottle was wrapped in a bubble wrap, sealed in a ziplock bag and you will receive it within a heavy duty padded envelope, and a glass sticker slapped on it.
Light amber edging into the light crystal in appearance will reveal again the golden helmet Athena”s elegant beauty, the patron goddess of the city-state of Athens.

First Impressions

With a name like Athena, I was expecting a bit more than the standard sweet & sour green apple candy flavor. With flavors like green apples fresh in my mind, I know that multi-tonal, vibrant apple flavors are certainly possible, and a quick glance at the Cyclops Vapor website says this juice is a blend of 2 different apple components with elements of both sweet and tart. With that knowledge, a freshly coiled Atomic Atomizer atop my Poldiac V2, and the bottle of Cyclops Vapors Athena, I sat down, eager to taste the next bottle in line from this big vendor.

Flavor

The base liquids are clean tasting with no off flavors, the nicotine brings no additional flavor to the profile, and the flavoring components themselves are from the mid to upper tier flavor houses, but the result here is just a green apple Jolly Rancher flavor.

The additional element that the website talks about is there, but not readily appreciable underneath the more potent green apple candy flavor that dominates. After spending two full days with what is at heart, a single flavor juice, I am fairly confident in saying that the secondary apple flavor used by Cyclops vapor is of the sweeter red variety. The flavor on this vape is incredibly crisp and refreshing.

Taste

Admittedly, pinning down clear-cut, definitive flavors when were dealing with an artificial world can be difficult, particularly when the flavor in question is not the BEST note, but after the immense amount of time, I spent with this relatively straightforward juice, I’m fairly confident, at the very best.

Overall, this leads to a subtle sweetness that tames the otherwise wildly tart flavor of the green apple candy concentrate, but I do wish there were a greater sense of balance here, which would require enough of the red to approach a state of equilibrium between the two apples.

Both flavors are somewhat tolerant to heat, faring well enough under the wattage produced by the Poldiac V2 with a full battery and the Atomic running dual twisted 28ga Kanthal coils (clocking in just under .4Ω), but admittedly the red apple can shine a bit brighter when kept within the normal vaping wattage spectrum. Athena has an incredibly crisp and refreshing flavor

Throat Hit

On the ProVari/V2 510 dripping rig I liked it at an even 10w or 5v with a 2.5Ω dripping at. This produced the best sense of balance I was able to achieve from this juice, a very nice plume of vapor with a mild, but not absent, throat hit.

True to Description.

I can’t give this full marks for my expectation of a pure apple vape, but this is something more that I have ever had. Don’t let expectation and accuracy ruin it for you because this e-juice is extraordinary and rare vape juice.

The quality of Vape.

This is a nice one to all day vape. From its full and concentrated flavor notes to throat hit it’s a winning e-juice.
Overall, this one has been an absolute pleasure to vape.

Best time to Vape:

Apples are a symbol of the fall season and are a beautiful, tasty, reliable staple food for many cultures. So if you want to give it a try then start it in Autumn. But if you are already vaping fruity e-liquids then Vape this Apple e-liquid after a sweet breakfast treat.

The nuts add a lot of flavor (and heart-healthy mono-unsaturated fat) to this E-liquid. So don’t leave them out, but feel free to substitute walnuts or the pecans, if you like. You can also toast the pecans before mixing if you like. That adds a deeper, nuttier flavor to this e-liquid.

  1. You have really knocked this one out of the park. I love the strong apple flavor and think this may be the best taste on the exhale that I have ever had. Don’t change a thing on this one. I can’t wait to see what’s next as a seasonal flavor and would love to see your take on grape.
